Musiconics/MCI GuitOrgan, model B35 in very good condition. This guitorgan was made in Waco, Texas USA in 1977. The B35 model was based on a Japanese (Fujigen Gakki) made Gibson ES340 style guitar with Varitone switch. Comes with original footswitch, original case and (a copy of) the original player's manual. 

It is both a great playing and sounding regular electric semi-hollowbody guitar, with two regular pickups which sound amazing, as well as a vintage organ that can sound like a Hammond organ, a big church organ, an analogue accordion, or a flute. The guitar can be played single, so is the organ, or both ‘instruments’ can sound at the same time at which the organ simultaniously follows the guitar, at the same octave or at one octave lower.

It has multiple controls to include percussive, sustain, tremolo and other. To create organ sounds, each fret is divided up into 6 parts. The 18x6=108 fret parts are individually wired through the neck to the electronic organ components in the body. When a string hits any individual fret part, it triggers the subsequent organ note. Thus when a string is played in the 0-position (without hitting a fret), no organ note is produced at all, only the subsequent guitar note. A band equalizer with five octave sliders allows for fine balancing of the outputs on 16’, 8’, 5 1/3’, 4’and 2 2/3’ bands. An organ/combo switch with tuning wheel  to synchronize guitar and organ. There is a button to sound an open E organ note to support tuning the guitar. Another button temporarily activates the organ when playing in guitar mode. There is a button at the nut to activate the open string. 

The guitar supports stereo output, it features two output jacks: one regular 6.3 mm jack plug output that allows for amplifying (only) the generic guitar ‘instrument’, and one multi-pin cable that must be plugged into the foot control unit (with on/off switch and volume control pedal) in order to play the organ ‘instrument’ (or the guitar - and the organ instruments together). The foot control unit features two separate 6.3 mm jack plug outputs, one for amplifying the guitar sound, and one for amplifying the organ sound.

This guitar has been restored a while ago, and all guitar and organ controls function well. Still works on 130V.
